Govett Quilliam is committed to providing exceptional legal services to all of our Taranaki clients. Therefore, it is a natural progression that in addition to our New Plymouth and Inglewood offices, we cement a strong and trusted presence in Stratford.

We are pleased to share that as of 1 April, 2022, Govett Quilliam will acquire Rod Gordon Barrister and Solicitor, based in Stratford. This opportunity is founded on family values with Associate Kate Laurenson (formerly Gordon) leading a team of legal professionals committed to the continued service of Central and South Taranaki. Kate isn’t a stranger to Stratford, having grown up there before practicing law in both Wellington and New Plymouth for over 20 years.

From the beginning of his practice in 1976, Rod Gordon has had a close personal and professional relationship with Govett Quilliam. Rod looks forward to continuing to practice in Stratford as a consultant for GQ.
