Client Journeys: Stories of Success

We pride ourselves in supporting our clients through all walks of their legal journeys. Whether this involves supporting clients in selling long-standing businesses, guiding first-time home buyers, helping families continue their legacies, or kick-starting a couple's dream of building their perfect home, we are here for you every step of the way.

Below are snippets from some of our client success stories over the past few months.

Taranaki is home to many family-owned and operated businesses and that’s certainly the case for Franko and Cassey Galley who are second-generation owners of their family-run business.

Spudz stocks restaurants, cafes, resthomes, schools, caterers, and more with their impressive range of fresh fruit and vegetables sourced from local growers. They also have a small retail space with all the essentials for their loyal local customers.

The Galleys SPUDZ Story

Our lawyers have proudly supported the Galleys over the decades with all their legal needs. From their first home back in 2016 to establishing and managing their Family Trust, purchasing the family business, and just this year, facilitating the purchase of the Spudz building itself - it's been a joy to assist and celebrate these milestones with their whānau along the way.

"GQ have been looking after my Family affairs for as long as I can remember, and we have used a lot of the services they provide.

2014 they helped us with taking in Cassey’s Niece and Nephew through home for life. 2018 helped us Purchase our current home, in 2021 helped us purchase the Family business Spudz, and then 2024 to Purchase the building that we operate from.

Just to name the major events.

We have always been happy the advice and support that GQ has provided us, and expect to be for many years to come! - Franko Galley

Client Stories Jordan Katrina Client

We love working with first home buyers! It's impressive to see people like Jordan who have worked incredibly hard and purchased his first house all by himself!

Katrina has been involved in Jordan's first home purchase right from the beginning. Whether this was supporting him through answering those many questions when stepping into this exciting but also daunting process or simply calming those nerves when you feel as if you have no idea what's going on!

We find this a very exciting process to guide our clients through.
